Years ago, if a particular ethnic group such as Hispanics or African Americans reached 10% of the population within a given market, it was considered wise to include that group in the Media Plan, if possible. In today’s world, it is more important than ever to check into the population breakdowns of all ethnic groups in a given market before putting a Plan together. Luckily, we have Census Data that will give us that information. Do due diligence, do your homework, and make the Media Plan the best that it can be.
