Shooting on Baltimore’s Light Rail

My darling granddaughter works for a team of attorneys in downtown Baltimore. She lives in the northern suburbs, so it is easier to take the Light Rail to and from work. One day, recently, she was coming home on the Light Rail when a young black male shot out one of the windows and began pointing the gun at the passengers, now huddled and shivering from fright on the floor of the train. Luckily, the event happened near the North Avenue stop, which was just minutes away, and the shooter was taken down by law enforcement officials. My advice to her, “Quit your job, and find a law firm in the suburbs where you don’t have to risk your life everyday.” No job is that important.
