Murphy’s Law

New dictionary description of Murphy’s Law:

Drove 300 miles to see an old friend the day after we spoke on the
phone and set up a time I would be there, and she forgot about me.
She went to Bingo instead. My granddaughter couldn’t use my car
to go to work (hers was out of order) because I was using it to go see
my old friend, and she got fired – said it was my fault. Stopped at
Urgent Care on the way home, because another granddaughter (who
went with me was complaining of a sore throat. She got three
prescriptions. Inadvertently drove past the Pharmacy drive through
on the way back home. Turned around and went back to CVS. The
pharmacy was closed. Got up early the next day to take the scripts to
CVS. They were closed. Murphy’s Law no matter where I turned.
