Homeless Shelter or City Museum

A question was asked of my city’s Town Council. “We have a house that the City owns. Should we make it a homeless shelter or a City Museum? The vote went to the museum. I have driven by that museum on many occasions and have never seen anyone entering it or leaving it. Let’s face it, who cares about the history of Taneytown? This past winter, with blizzard conditions, many feet of snow, high winds, and super cold temperatures, I can just imagine how the homeless of this town are wishing the vote had gone the other way. I don’t know what happened to them, but I do know they couldn’t have survived living outside in the skimpy little tents they pitch just off the circle. So sad. So stupid. It was obvious. The greater need was for the homeless shelter, not the Taneytown museum! Where’s your Christianity folks?
