Banking Hours

How is it that years ago, banks stayed open for their patron’s convenience. I remember my bank in Harrisburg opened at 8 a.m. so I could get there before going to work; the lobby closed at 3 p.m.; but the drive through window was open until 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7 p.m. on Fridays. The bank was also open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. I just closed my accounts (business and personal) at my local bank for several reasons – one of them being their hours of operation – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – the exact same hours I work…….
