The Media Buying Academy invests in ad specialty items like pocket calendars, pens, camouflage pencils, rulers, calculators, letter splitters, sticky notes, scrap pads, and more – all with our business name, phone number and/or website address on them. We are happy to supply any or all of these items to our students who take our classes so that they are prepared during the sessions. We also are very hopeful that somewhere down the line, someone will see our business name, phone number, or website address, and call us about signing up for a class. I can picture a past student picking up his pocket calendar, seeing our name on the front cover, and saying to himself, “Oh, yes! I must sign up our new buyer for this class. It was wonderful.” Do you think that ever happens? Do you know of any research that accurately shows what kind of a return one can get from ad specialty items? If so, I would love to see it!
